Jessica Fernandez: Miami, FL; In 2013 Jessica was elected President of the Miami Young Republicans Club. In this role, she helps educate club members on local and state issues that face our community by hosting events around timely topics featuring elected officials, community leaders. Most recently she was elected to serve as Assistant Secretary of the Florida Federation of Young Republicans, the state’s Young Republican organization. After graduating from FSU, Jessica got her first taste of grassroots campaigning, working on several special elections and then the John McCain for President 2008 campaign. Jessica also served as campaign manager for municipal candidates. Her passion for public affairs led her to the serve as Administrative Officer for a local municipality where she sharpened her public sector experience and expanded her grassroots connections. Jessica served as a member of the South Florida Team for the Mitt Romney 2012 campaign. She currently serves as Market Manager for the State of Florida’s CFO, Jeff Atwater, where she leverages her experience in public affairs to connect with the market and serve the needs of business industry groups as well as Hispanics and women’s organizations.
